Load originals on the scanner glass

1. Open the top cover.
   
   
2. Place the original face down on the scanner glass. Align the upper left corner of the front of your document or photograph with the arrow on the front corner of the scanner glass.
3. Close the top cover. Not closing the top cover while scanning results in dark edges appearing on the image you are scanning or copying.
