Specify cartridge settings in the All-In-One software

  1. After installing the cartridges, open the Lexmark 2200 Series Utility.
  2. Click the Install/Change Cartridge... button. The Cartridge Setup dialog is displayed.
  3. Follow the instructions on your screen and then click Continue. The Cartridge Verification dialog is displayed.
  4. Select the part numbers of the cartridges you installed.
  5. Select Yes, it is old if the cartridge has been used before, or No, it is new if the cartridge has not been used before. If an old cartridge is incorrectly identified as a new cartridge, ink levels in the utility dialog may be incorrect.
  6. Click OK.
