Resetting printer software to factory default settings

For Windows Vista users

  1. Click vista_start_button step Control Panel stepPrinters (under Hardware and Sound).

  2. Right-click the Lexmark 9500 Series icon.

  3. Click Printing Preferences.

    The Print Setup tab appears.

  4. From the Printing Preferences toolbar, click Profiles step Restore a profile step Factory Settings.

  5. Click OK.

For Windows XP or Windows 2000 users

  1. Click Start stepSettings stepPrinters or Printers and Faxes.

  2. Right-click the Lexmark 9500 Series icon.

  3. Click Printing Preferences.

    The Print Setup tab appears.

  4. From the Printing Preferences toolbar, click Settings step Load Factory Settings.

  5. Click OK.

Note: Factory default settings cannot be deleted.
