Check the print cartridges

Open the access cover and check the following items:

• Are the cartridges properly installed?

With the front of the printer facing you, check for proper print cartridge installation. If you are using a photo cartridge, make sure that it is properly installed in the left carrier and the color cartridge in the right.

If you are using a black cartridge, make sure it is properly installed in the left carrier and the color cartridge in the right.

You can also check if the cartridges are properly installed in the cartridges tab of Lexmark P910 Series Utility.

• Are either of the cartridges low on ink?
1. Check ink levels and other information.
2. If you receive a warning that your ink levels are low, Order supplies from the Lexmark Web site. Install the print cartridge.
• Is the sticker and transparent tape removed completely from each print cartridge?

Individually remove the print cartridges from the carrier and verify that there is not a piece of transparent, blue tape on the bottom of each print cartridge. Re-insert the print cartridge into the carrier and follow the instruction on the screen.
