Is your memory card supported by the printer?

The printer supports the following memory cards:

• Multimedia card
• Secure Digital
• xD picture card (up to 512MB)
• Memory stick
• Memory Stick Duo (with adapter)
• Memory Stick PRO
• Memory Stick PRO Duo (with adapter)
• SmartMedia
• Microdrive
• CompactFlash Type I
• CompactFlash Type II

Did you insert the memory card properly into slot?

For instructions in properly inserting a memory card into the slot, go to Insert a memory card.

Are the images contained in the memory card captured by a digital camera?

The printer detects only images that were captured by a digital camera. If the images in your memory card were formatted by other devices other than a digital camera, the printer may not recognize it.

Do you have a PictBridge-enabled digital camera connected to the printer?

Disconnect the PictBridge-enabled digital camera from the printer.
