Scan using XSane

1. In the command line, type xsane. The XSane main window appears.

2. From the menu bar, choose Window Show standard options.

3. Specify the IP address of your printer.

4. If necessary, adjust other scan settings. For more information, see Adjust the scan settings using XSane and OpenOffice.org .

5. From the XSane main window, click Scan.

6. Place the document to be scanned in the ADF or on the scanner glass.

7. From the printer, choose your profile. For more information, see the documentation that came with your printer.
