Note : A note identifies information that could help you.

Warning : A warning identifies something that could damage the product hardware or software.

WARNING (in full capitals) : A WARNING  indicates a risk of death or serious injury if not avoided.

CAUTION : A caution indicates a potentially hazardous situation that could injure you.

Different types of caution statements include:

standard caution icon   CAUTION—POTENTIAL INJURY:   Indicates a risk of injury.
shock hazard caution icon   CAUTION—SHOCK HAZARD:  Indicates a risk of electrical shock.
hot surface caution icon   CAUTION—HOT SURFACE:  Indicates a risk of burn if touched.
tipping hazard caution icon   CAUTION—TIPPING HAZARD:  Indicates a crush hazard.
pinch hazard caution icon   CAUTION—PINCH HAZARD:  Indicates a risk of being caught between moving parts.
