Paper jam light - On

Start button light - On

If the light sequence matches the light sequence in the preceding illustration, then press the start button twice to see the supplemental light sequence.

Paper jam light - On

Toner cartridge light - On

Ready light - On

Start button light - On

If the supplemental light sequence matches the light sequence in the preceding illustration, then do the following.

  1. Remove the jammed paper.

    Note: Make sure that all paper fragments are removed.

  2. Flex, fan, and align the paper edges before loading.

  3. From the control panel, press the select button.
