Make sure that Active Adapter is set to Auto. From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Network Overview > Active Adapter.
From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless > Setup On Printer Panel > Choose Network.
Select a Wi-Fi network, and then type the network password.
Depending on your mobile device, download the Lexmark Mobile Assistant application from either the Google Play store or App Store online store.
From the printer home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless > Setup Using Mobile App > Printer ID.
From your mobile device, launch the application, and then accept the Terms of Use.
Tap Connect to Printer > Go to Wi-Fi Settings.
Connect your mobile device to the printer wireless network.
Return to the application, and then tap Setup Wi-Fi Connection
Select a Wi-Fi network, and then type the network password.
Tap Done.
Before you begin, make sure that:
The access point (wireless router) is WPS-certified or WPS-compatible. For more information, see the documentation that came with your access point.
A wireless network adapter is installed in your printer. For more information, see the instructions that came with the adapter.
Active Adapter is set to Auto. From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Network Overview > Active Adapter.
From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless > Wi-Fi Protected Setup > Start Push Button Method.
Follow the instructions on the display.
From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless > Wi-Fi Protected Setup > Start PIN Method.
Copy the eight-digit WPS PIN.
Open a web browser, and then type the IP address of your access point in the address field.

Access the WPS settings. For more information, see the documentation that came with your access point.
Enter the eight-digit PIN, and then save the changes.
Wi-Fi Direct is a Wi-Fi-based peer-to-peer technology that allows wireless devices to connect directly to a Wi-Fi Direct-enabled printer without using an access point (wireless router).
From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wi-Fi Direct.
Configure the settings.
Enable Wi-Fi Direct—Enables the printer to broadcast its own Wi-Fi Direct network.
Wi-Fi Direct Name—Assigns a name for the Wi-Fi Direct network.
Wi-Fi Direct Password—Assigns the password for negotiating the wireless security when using the peer-to-peer connection.
Show Password on Setup Page—Shows the password on the Network Setup Page.
Auto-Accept Push Button Requests—Lets the printer accept connection requests automatically.
Before connecting your mobile device, make sure that Wi-Fi Direct has been configured. For more information, see Configuring Wi-Fi Direct.
From the mobile device, go to the settings menu.
Enable Wi-Fi, and then tap Wi-Fi Direct.
Select the printer Wi-Fi Direct name.
Confirm the connection on the printer control panel.
From the mobile device, go to the settings menu.
Tap Wi-Fi, and then select the printer Wi-Fi Direct name.
Enter the Wi-Fi Direct password.
Before connecting your computer, make sure to do the following:
Enable Wi-Fi Direct in the printer. From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wi-Fi Direct > Enable Wi-Fi Direct > On.
Take note of the Wi-Fi Direct name. From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wi-Fi Direct > Wi-Fi Direct Name.
Take note of the Wi-Fi Direct password. From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Wi-Fi Direct > Wi-Fi Direct Password.
Open Printers & scanners, and then click Add a printer or scanner.
Click Show Wi-Fi Direct printers, and then select the printer Wi-Fi Direct name.
From the printer display, take note of the eight-digit PIN of the printer.
Enter the PIN on the computer.
Click the wireless icon, and then select the printer Wi-Fi Direct name.
Type the Wi-Fi Direct password.
From the home screen, touch Settings > Network/Ports > Network Overview > Active Adapter > Standard Network.
Follow the instructions on the display.
Notes:
Open the printers folder.
From the shortcut menu of the printer with the new ISP, open the printer properties.
Configure the port from the list.
Update the IP address.
Apply the changes.
From System Preferences in the Apple menu, navigate to the list of printers, and then select + > IP.
Type the IP address in the address field.
Apply the changes.
