You can increase printer security by disabling printer functions for certain users.
Open a web browser, and then type the printer IP address.
From the Embedded Web Server, click Settings > Security .
From the Public section, click Manage Permissions .
Expand Function Access , and then clear the check box beside the function that you want to disable.
Click Save .
