LEXMARK ACCESSIBILITY SOLUTION Readme for version 3.0.9 1. OVERVIEW This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK ACCESSIBILITY SOLUTION. Lexmark Accessibility Solution is an embedded application that can be installed on printers that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v5.x. The Accessibility Solution provides a web interface for all key printer functionalities (Copy, Fax, E-mail, FTP, and Scan to Network) for users who are blind, sight-impaired, or have muscular problems that make use of the printer touch screen difficult or impossible. 2. Supported eSF v5.x printers include: * CX725 * Required firmware level: ATL.030.036 or later * CX82x * Required firmware level: PP.030.036 or later * CX860 * Required firmware level: PP.03.036a or later * CX92x * Required firmware level: CXTMH.040.055 or later b. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM. 4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE a. If the fax setting on the printer is disabled, then you cannot send documents using the fax shortcut created by the Accessibility Solution application. To send fax jobs, configure the Fax Mode setting to either "Analog" or "Fax Server" on the printer. 5. RELEASE NOTES * Removed the Scan to PC feature. * Added support for CX92x printers. * Bug fixes.
