DEVICE QUOTAS
Readme for version 2.6.1

1. OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the DEVICE QUOTAS
    application.

    Device Quotas is an embedded solution that can be installed on printers 
    that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v4.x and
    v3.x. Device Quotas lets administrators configure user-level quotas 
    for printing, scanning, copying, and outbound faxing.

3. REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports eSF v4.x and v3.x applications.

       Supported eSF v4.x printers include:

    b. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM.


    c. Hard drive: The printer must have a hard drive installed.


4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a. For all non-English languages, exported or printed usage data (current
       period usage, previous period usage, lifetime usage, and department
       usage) and individual user report PDFs may contain erroneous
       characters in the PDF column headers as well as overlapping text,
       making them difficult to read.

    b. If a user tries to FTP a print job, then it will not be executed, even 
       if unauthenticated printing is permitted.

    c. Internal pages printing, namely Network Setup, Device Statistics,
       Print Fonts, Print Directory, Print Demo, Asset Report, and Event
       Log Summary, are recorded under NonAuthenticated user ID instead
       of InternalPages.

    d. Usage data reports in CSV format cannot be viewed properly if user ID
       contains a comma. Do not use a comma in the user ID.

    e. Removing contacts and adding or changing user information from 
       internal accounts do not automatically update the contact information 
       in Device Quotas. To synchronize all contacts, click Sync Internal
       Accounts > Printers IP address > Applications > Device Quotas.
	   
    f. Account Name can only be set in the EWS User Management. If user is added
	   via OP panel, the userid will be used as the Account Name.
