1. OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK DEVICE QUOTAS
    application.

    Lexmark Device Quotas is an embedded solution that can be installed on printers
    that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v5.x. Device
    Quotas allows administrators to configure user-level quotas for printing,
    scanning, copying, and outbound faxing.

3. REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports eSF v5.x applications

        Supported eSF v5.x printers include:

          * CS72x
             * Required firmware level: CSTAT.040.086 or later

    b. Hard drive: The printer must have a hard drive installed.


4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    Common issues:

    a. For all non-English languages, exported or printed Usage Data (current
        period usage, previous period usage, lifetime usage, and department
        usage) and Individual User Report PDFs may contain erroneous
        characters in the PDF column headers as well as overlapping text,
        making them difficult to read.


    b. Internal pages printing, namely, Network Setup, Device Statistics,
        Print Fonts, Print Directory, Print Demo, Asset report, and Event Log
        Summary, are recorded under NonAuthenticated user ID instead of
        InternalPages.


    d. Usage data reports in CSV format cannot be viewed properly if the user ID
        contains a comma. To avoid this, do not use a comma in the user ID.
