After a solution is deployed to a printer, a profile is available on the printer that allows users to access the solution.
If the profile that you want appears on the home screen, then touch the icon for the profile.
If the profile that you want does not appear on the home screen, then do the following:
From the printer home screen, do either of the following:
For e-Task 5 printers, touch App Profiles.
For e-Task 2+, e-Task 3, or e-Task 4 printers, touch Held Jobs > Profiles.
Touch the profile that you want to appear on the home screen.
The profile launches the associated script on the server. Documents are scanned as necessary, and any prompts included in the script are presented to the user.
| Note: When using a solution that reads a bar code, scan at 300 dpi for best results. Depending on the documents being scanned, using a higher setting for Darkness may also provide better results. |
