From the Windows Control Panel, go to Windows Defender Firewall, and then click Advanced Settings > Inbound Rules .
From the Actions section, click New Rule .
From the Rule Type section, select Custom , and then click Next .
From the Program section, select This program path , and then browse to the location of the database. Click Next .
In the “Protocol type” menu, select TCP .
In the “Local port” menu, select Specific Ports , and then enter the port number of the database. Click Next .
When prompted which remote IP addresses the rule applies to, select These IP addresses , and then click Add .
Specify the IP addresses of the server and load balancer, and then click Next .
From the Action section, select Allow the connection , and then click Next .
If necessary, from the Profile section, select Domain , Private , and Public . Click Next .
Type a unique name for the inbound rule.
Click Finish .
