Installing the LDD SDK plug-in

Offline installation

  1. On your computer, extract the LDD SDK plug-in ZIP file.

  2. From the Eclipse IDE software, click Help > Install New Software > Add > Local.

  3. Browse to the folder where you extracted the plug-in, and then click OK.

  4. Add the local site.

  5. Select SBT, and then click Next.

  6. Check the list of items to be installed, and then click Next.

  7. Accept the license agreement, and then click Finish.

  8. If necessary, when you receive a security warning indicating that the software contains unsigned content, click OK.

  9. Restart the Eclipse IDE software.

Online installation

  1. From the Eclipse IDE software, click Help > Install New Software > Add.

  2. In the Location field, type http://hyperion.mw.lexmark.com/lddsdk/current/, and then click OK.

  3. If necessary, enter your user name and password, and then click OK.

  4. Select SBT, and then click Next.

  5. Check the list of items to be installed, and then click Next.

  6. Accept the license agreement, and then click Finish.

  7. If necessary, when you receive a security warning indicating that the software contains unsigned content, click OK.

  8. Restart the Eclipse IDE software.

The LDD SDK menu is available after installing the Solution Builder Toolkit.
