The Fleet Tracker supports the following remote asset manager data collectors:
Lexmark Remote Asset Manager— An application that lets you discover printers, collect printer data, and access advanced data collector features.
Embedded Lexmark Remote Asset Manager—A printer application that provides better communication of customized data to the Fleet Tracker.
Note: When using the Embedded Lexmark Remote Asset Manager, we recommend discovering and collecting only up to 100 devices. Rolling up more than 100 devices shows a message with the data collector status. |
Provisioned—The data collector is ready to enroll to the server.
Running—The data collector is enrolled and ready to send data to the Fleet Tracker server.
Stopped—The data collector service is stopped from the machine where it is installed.
Unenrolled—The data collector is no longer enrolled from the Fleet Tracker server and no data is sent to the server.
Uninstalled—The data collector application is uninstalled.
Pending Deletion—The data collector is removed from the Fleet Tracker server. This status applies to only data collectors that were previously in Running state. If the rollup connection is set to HTTP, then the data collector is deleted automatically in the next job schedule. If the rollup connection is set to e-mail, then the user must delete the database collector manually by clicking Force Delete.
Unresponsive—The data collector cannot communicate with the Fleet Tracker server for more than 24 hours. This status appears only if the rollup connection is set to HTTP or HTTPS.
