Setting up the function access control

1. Open a web browser, and then type the printer IP address.

2. Depending on your eSF version, do either of the following:

   For eSF version 5.0 or later

   1. Click Settings > Security.

   2. From the Public section, click Manage Permissions.

   3. Expand Function Access, and then clear the check box beside the function that you want to disable.

   4. Click Save.

   For eSF version 4.0 or earlier

   1. Click Settings > Security > Security Setup.

   2. From the Advanced Security Setup section, configure a building block.

   3. Set up a security template using the previously configured building block.

   4. Click Access Controls, and then click Device Apps/.

   5. Set the application to the previously configured security template.

   6. Click Submit.
