LEXMARKK ONBASE CONNECTOR

1. OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK ONBASE
    CONNECTOR application.

    Lexmark OnBase Connector is an embedded solution that can be installed on
    multifunction printers that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework
    (eSF) v5.x. This application lets you scan documents at a
    printer and send them directly to an OnBase server. OnBase is a network
    application that runs on Windows servers and enables users to send their
    documents to the server for proper archiving and processing.

3. REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports eSF v5.x applications.

       Supported eSF v5.x printers include:

         * CX52x, CX62x
            * Required firmware level: CXTZJ.050.031 or later

         * CX725
            * Required firmware level: CXTAT.050.031 or later

         * CX73x
            * Required firmware level: CXTMM.080.020 or later

         * CX82x
            * Required firmware level: CXTPP.050.031 or later

         * CX860
            * Required firmware level: CXTPP.050.031 or later

         * CX92x
            * Required firmware level: CXTMH.050.031 or later

         * CX93x, CX94x
            * Required firmware level: CXTPC.081.006 or later

         * MX43x
            * Required firmware level: MXTCT.081.017 or later

         * MX522, MX622
            * Required firmware level: MXTGM.050.031 or later

         * MX72x, MX82x

    b. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 256MB of RAM.


    c. Minimum Hyland OnBase Server version: 18.0.1.42 SP1
    

4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF RELEASE

    a. This version supports only MFPs with 4.3-, 7-, and 10-inch touch-screen displays.

    b. Version 18.0.1.42 SP1 or later of the Hyland OnBase server is required.

    c. JPEG file type is still uploaded to the server even though you did not press the send
       confirmation.

    d. The keyword will be hidden if it is set to "Data Set / Drop Down List" but does not
       have datasets.

    e. Sub-keyword values cannot be sent to the server.

    f. Users can view only the keywords and document types that have permission to view.

    g. The app does not support masking for keywords.



5.  RELEASE NOTES

   * Added support for CX73x, CX93x, CX94x, MX93x, CS73x, CS94x and MX43x printers.
   * Bug fixes.
