Print Agent

The PPR Print Agent enables VPN-less printing by establishing secure communication with the print server. This section provides installation instructions for the component.

Deployment readiness checklist

You can install PPR Print Agent on the following supported operating systems:

• Windows Server 2025

• Windows Server 2022

• Windows Server 2019

• Windows Server 2016

• Windows 11 (64 bit)

• Windows 10 (64 bit)

Before you begin, make sure that the following applications are installed on the server:

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or later

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable

• Microsoft ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server

Installing Print Agent

1. Obtain the PPR Print Agent installer.

2. Run the PrintAgentInstaller.exe file as an administrator.

3. Read and accept the End-User License Agreement (EULA), and then click Install.

4. Browser to the folder where you want to save the installation.

   Note: We recommend using the default directory.

5. Provide the URL of the print server.

   Note: Replace [LB Address] with the host name or IP address of the print server. If a one-time token is provided, then the agent is auto-enrolled. If not provided, then manual enrollment is required. For encrypted connections, provide the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) or host name of the print server.

6. Install the PPR Print Agent.
