Cannot connect to the Document Accounting server

Try one or more of the following:

Make sure that the URL that points to the WDSL file for the Document Accounting server is correct

From the Embedded Web Server, navigate to the configuration page for the application:

Apps > Register ME > Configure


Make sure that the Document Accounting server is turned on and ready to receive SOAP messages from the application


Make sure that the Document Accounting URL and password are correct

For more information on accessing Document Accounting settings through the Embedded Web Server, see Configuring application settings.

  1. From the Embedded Web Server, navigate to the configuration page for the application:

    Apps > Register ME > Configure

  2. Make sure that the URL and password for the Document Accounting server are correct.

    Note: If necessary, click Apply to save any changes.
  3. Click Test.

    A message appears, indicating the connection status between the application and the Document Accounting server.


Make sure that the LDAP server information is correct

Make sure that the authentication scripts on the Document Accounting server are valid

For more information on creating and editing scripts, see the documentation that came with your Document Accounting software.


Check the diagnostic log

  1. Open a Web browser, and then type IP/se, where IP is the printer IP address.

  2. Click Embedded Solutions > Log File.

  3. Analyze the log, and then resolve the problem.
