Readme for version 2.2.12


1.  OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK REMOTE
    COPY application.

    Lexmark Remote Copy is an embedded solution that can be installed on
    printers that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v4.x
    or v3.x. Remote Copy provides users with the flexibility to scan
    documents at a printer and send them to a different network-attached
    printer.

3.  REQUIREMENTS

    a.  A printer that supports eSF v4.x or v3.x applications.

        Supported eSF v4.x printers include:

          *  CX510
             *  Required firmware level:  LW41.GM7.P454 or later.

          *  CX410
             *  Required firmware level:   LW41.GM4.P454 or later.

          *  MX51x, MX410
             *  Required firmware level:   LW41.SB4.P454 or later.

          *  MX610
             *  Required firmware level:  LW41.SB7.P454 or later.

          *  MX6500e
             *  Required firmware level:  LW41.JD.P454 or later.

          *  MX71x
             *  Required firmware level:  LW41.TU.P454 or later.

          *  MX81x

        Supported eSF v3.x printers include:

    b.  Memory:  The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM.


    c.  An additional supported Lexmark printer must be connected to the same
        network as the printer that is being used to send scanned documents.


4.  LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a.  The Color and Content settings are not supported for Custom Jobs.
        If Custom Job is on and the Color and/or Content Settings are
        changed between the first and second scan, only the first scan is
        printed.

    b.  The Supported devices for destination is v4.x and below.


5.  RELEASE NOTES

    *  Fix issue on Remote Copy Scanned Document is printed to the wrong
       printer
    *  Fix issue on Remote Copy "Cannot communicate with the remote
       printer..." will prompt when app is launched.
    *  Fix issue on Remote Copy not all pages copied are printed on
       the remote machine on the succeeding jobs.
    *  Fix issue on Remote Copy Color copy has a bad copy quality
    *  Port PE fix on Fading issue and missing Color pages
    *  Port PE fix on copy output of a mostly red-colored document
       gaves out an orange shade output.
