LEXMARK SCAN TO RIGHTFAX

1. OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK SCAN TO
    RIGHTFAX application.

    Lexmark Scan to RightFax is an embedded solution that can be installed on
    multifunction products that support Lexmark Embedded Solutions Framework
    (eSF) v3.x or v4.x. This application lets you scan documents at a
    printer and send them directly to a RightFax server. RightFax is a network
    fax application that runs on Windows servers and enables users to receive
    faxes at their computers.

3. REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports v3.x or v4.x applications.

        Supported eSF v3.x printers include:

          * X54x
             * Required firmware level:  LHS30.VK.P305 or later

          * X74x
             * Required firmware level:  LHS30.NY.P305 or later

          * X79x
             * Required firmware level:  LHS30.MR.P306 or later

          * X92x
             * Required firmware level:  LHS30.HK.P305 or later

        Supported eSF v4.x printers include:

          * CX410
             * Required firmware level: LW41.GM4.P454 or later

             * Required firmware level: LW41.GM7.P454 or later

          * MX410, MX51x
             * Required firmware level: LW41.SB4.P454 or later

          * MX61x
             * Required firmware level: LW41.SB7.P454 or later

    b. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM.


    c. License: This application requires an electronic license. To obtain a
                license, go to www.lexmark.com, and then click "Contact Us"
                at the bottom of the page.


    d. Minimum RightFax server version: 10.6.


4. LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a. For eSF v2.x printers, image files exceeding 3MB cannot be sent to the
       RightFax server; for eSF v3.x and v4.x printers, image files exceeding
       10MB cannot be sent.


5. RELEASE NOTES

    * Added Scan Settings in the Embedded Web Server for Manual Fax.
    * Fixed minor defects.
