1.  OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK
    SCAN TO SHAREPOINT application.

    Lexmark Scan to SharePoint is an embedded solution that can be
    installed on printers that support the Lexmark Embedded Solutions
    Framework (eSF) v6.x. It scans documents directly from a smart
    multifunction product (MFP) to the Microsoft SharePoint content
    management software. Real-time scanning converts documents into
    digital formats and makes files instantly available for printing.

3.  REQUIREMENTS

    a. A printer that supports eSF v6.x applications.

       Supported eSF v6.x printers include:

    c. Memory: The printer must have a minimum of 1GB of RAM.


4.  LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a. Canceling an in-progress scan job may still result in a file being
       uploaded to the server. This file can be manually deleted from the
       server.

    b. The custom date for Columns may differ from the actual input if there
       is a time-zone difference between the server and the printer. The
       custom date may inherit the server time zone automatically.

    c. Scanning a large number of pages with high-resolution settings may
       fail if the file reaches the maximum upload size limit of the
       SharePoint server. Scan the pages across multiple jobs, or contact
       your administrator.

    d. The required client certificate in IIS SSL settings is currently not
       supported except for SCAC authentication.

    e. Special characters are not allowed when naming sites, folders, and file
       names in the SharePoint server.

    f. A folder can accommodate only up to 1000 files and folders.

    g. The application supports PDF, TIFF, JPG, TXT, PNG, XPS, DOC, DOCX,
       XLS, XLSX, PPT, and PPTX file formats for printing.
	   
    h. When using SharePoint Online, setting My Site as Default Start Location
       is not supported.

    i. SharePoint Online does not support multifactor authentication.


5.  RELEASE NOTES
