LEXMARK SECURE HELD PRINT JOBS
Readme for version 2.4.8

1.  OVERVIEW

    This Readme file pertains to the current release of the LEXMARK SECURE HELD
    PRINT JOBS application.

    Secure Held Print Jobs is an embedded solution that can be installed on
    printers that support the Embedded Solutions Framework (eSF) v4.x, v3.x, or
    v2.x. The application allows authenticated users to view and release their
    held print jobs.

3.  REQUIREMENTS

    a.  A printer that supports eSF v4.x, v3.x, or v2.x applications.

        Supported eSF v4.x printers include:

    b.  Memory:  The printer must have a minimum of 256MB RAM.


    c.  The eSF Security Manager:  An eSF application that allows Secure Held
        Print Jobs to be associated with authentication modules.


    d.  License:  This application requires an electronic license. To obtain a
                  license, go to www.lexmark.com and click the "Contact Lexmark"
                  link at the bottom of the screen.


4.  LIMITATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY OF THE RELEASE

    a.  Section 508 Accessibility Support is enabled only for the following
        eSF v4.x printers:

        *  MS812
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.DN.P543 or later.
                                                   
        *  CX510
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.GM.P543 or later.

        *  MX61x
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.SB.P543 or later.
   
        *  MX71x
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.TU.P543 or later.

        *  MX810
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.TU.P543 or later.

        *  MX91x
           *  Required firmware level:  LW50.MG.P543 or later.
