Try one or more of the following:

Make sure that you set the correct orientation in the scan settings

Try either of the following:

• Change the orientation of the original document from landscape to portrait or from portrait to landscape.

• In the Scan Settings menu, set Auto Rotate to ON.

Make sure that the document is loaded correctly into the ADF tray or on the scanner glass

Try either of the following:

• Make sure that the document is not upside down.

• In the Scan Settings menu, set Auto Rotate to ON.

Load only a single document at a time into the ADF tray

Multiple documents loaded into the ADF may be saved as a single file if the file format is set to PDF.

Select a different file format in the scan settings

Depending on the file format of the original document, change the file format to PDF or DOCX.
