E-mail a scanned item
When you want to scan a new item and send it through e-mail:
- Load originals on the scanner glass.
- Open the Lexmark 2200 Series Center.
- Select the Scan tab.
- From the What is being scanned? area, choose the type of image that you are scanning.
- From the How will the scan be used? pop-up menu, choose Viewed on-screen/Web page.
- From the Send scanned images to: pop-up menu, choose an application.
- Click Scan.
- Save the scanned image to your application.
- Retrieve the saved image from your application and send it through e-mail as an attachment.
