Select a printer

Use the Printer Selection dialog to add to the list of printers that you can use. Your All-In-One is automatically entered into the printer list when you install the All-In-One software.

Note:

You cannot add your All-In-One to the printer list of another computer using the Advanced menu of the Lexmark 2200 Series Utility. Use Printer Sharing to configure your All-In-One to be shared by other users connected to your local area network. For help, see Networking.

Open the Lexmark 2200 Series Utility.
From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Advanced.
Click Select Printer... . The Printer Selection dialog is displayed.

Click the Configure... button to assign or change the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the selected printer. To configure additional printers, go to Configure a network printer.
Click the Add Remote... button to add a remote printer. You can add a single network capable printer or search all available printers from a specified remote subnet.
Click the Use Shared button to add a printer connected to another computer running on Mac OS X version 10.2.x or later. The printer must be configured as a shared printer in the host computer before other computers can access them.

Click the Select button. If your printer is not listed, make sure the USB cable is securely attached to the computer and the printer is turned on.
