Installing the All-In-One add-on software

The All-In-One software CD comes with a Lexmark Extras folder that contains the ESP Ghostscript. This add-on application converts PostScript files to printable format. You must install this application to print PostScript files in Mac OS X version 10.2.3 and later.

Note: You can install ESP Ghostscript during the All-In-One software installation process, or install it later from the All-In-One software CD.

To install:

  1. Close all open software applications.
  2. Insert the All-In-One software CD. The 3300 Series Installer dialog appears. On this dialog are the 3300 Series Install icon, the Lexmark Extras folder, and the Help Installer icon.
  3. Double-click the Lexmark Extras folder. The ESP Ghostscript folder appears.
  4. Double-click the ESP Ghostscript Installer.
  5. Click Continue in each of the dialogs.
  6. Click Agree to accept the terms of the software license agreement and to continue installing the software.
  7. Select a destination disk for the All-In-One software, and then click Continue.
  8. Complete the authentication notice, and then click Continue.
    Note: For information on passwords, click to go to the Help Center.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Close the ESP Ghostscript Installer, the Lexmark Extras folder, and the All-In-One software installer folder.
