Choose where to send scanned images to

Select the destination for your scan from this pop-up menu.

• File. Saves your scan as a file to open later.
1. You are prompted for a file name and format for the scan.
2. Click the Disclosure arrow at the right end of the Where window to expand the directory and view all available locations.

   Note:

   You can also create new folders to contain your files.

• Fax. Directs the scan to your fax software.
• Clipboard. Saves your scan to the Clipboard so you can paste it into another document. Large scans may not fit the Clipboard.

CAUTION:

Scanning at high resolution to the Clipboard can use up a large amount of system memory and drastically affect system performance.

• Edit the Application List Setup.
