Cleaning the print rollers
The print rollers can become contaminated with ink or paper coatings, especially after printing on Hagaki or other paper types that leave a powder residue. If residue accumulates, the paper may not feed smoothly or easily, or several sheets may feed at one time. Remove the residue using cleaning sheets, sold separately in retail outlets.
Before cleaning the print rollers, make sure:
- There is no paper jam.
- The All-In-One is on.
- You read the instructions that came with the cleaning sheet.
To clean the print rollers:
- Remove the protective backing from the sheet.
- Load the sheet in the paper support with the sticky side of the sheet facing the paper support.
- Press and hold Select for about 3 seconds to load the sheet, and then press Select again to run the sheet through the print rollers.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3, except this time with the sticky part facing the front of your All-In-One.
