E-mail a scanned image

E-mail a photo to a friend

When you want to scan a new item and send it through e-mail:

  1. Load original documents on the scanner glass.
  2. Open the Lexmark 6200 Series Center.
  3. Select the Scan tab.
  4. From the What is being scanned? menu, select a document type.
  5. From the How will the scan be used? pop-up menu, choose Viewed on-screen/Web page.
  6. From the Send scanned images to: pop-up menu, choose an application.
  7. Click Scan.
  8. Retrieve the scanned image from your application and send it through e-mail as an attachment.
