Descreen

With the Descreen function in your All-In-One, you can get clear scanned images of your magazines, newspapers, and other documents. Descreening is the process of removing wavy patterns from scanned images.

1. Load original documents on the scanner glass.
2. Open the Lexmark 6200 Series Center.
3. Select the Scan tab and customize the settings.
4. Click Preview... to open the Scan dialog.
5. From the Settings tab, select Custom Settings.
6. From the Descreen Magazine or Newspaper pop-up menu, choose Photo, Text, Art Print, Magazine, Newspaper, or None.
7. Click Scan.
