Erasing non-volatile memory

  1. Turn off the printer.

  2. From the printer control panel, hold down the select button and the right arrow button while turning the printer on. Release the buttons only when the Configuration menu appears.

  3. Press the arrow buttons until Wipe All Settings appears, and then press the select button.

    The printer will restart several times during this process.

    Note: Wipe All Settings securely removes device settings, solutions, jobs, and passwords from the printer memory.

  4. Press the arrow buttons until Exit Config Menu appears, and then press the select button.

The printer will perform a power-on reset, and then return to normal operating mode.
