With a document open, click File > Print.
Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
Navigate to:
Layout tab > Print on Both Sides (Duplex) area > Print on both sides
Click Long edge for print jobs with pages that are bound along the long edge of the page.
Click Short edge for print jobs with pages that are bound along the short edge of the page.
Click the Paper/Finishing tab, and then select a supported paper type.
Click OK to close any printer software dialogs.
Click OK or Print.
To return to single-sided printing, repeat steps 1 and 2, and then navigate to:
Layout tab > Print on Both Sides (Duplex) area > Print on one side only
With a document open, choose File > Page Setup.
From the Page Setup dialog, set the printer, paper size, and orientation.
Click OK.
From the menu bar, choose File > Print.
From the Printer pop-up menu, choose your printer.
From the print options pop-up menu, choose Quality & Media.
From the Paper Type pop-up menu, choose a supported paper type.
From the print options pop-up menu, choose Layout.
From the Two-Sided pop-up menu, choose Long-Edge binding or Short-Edge binding.
For Long-Edge binding, pages are bound along the long edge of the page (left edge for portrait, top edge for landscape).

Click Print.
From the printer control panel, navigate to:
> Setup >
> Print Mode Setup >
> Page Dry Time >
Press the up or down arrow button to scroll to the dry time setting you want, and then press .
Note: The dry time varies depending on the print quality selected for the print job. Select to extend the dry time for your prints. |
Click File > Print.
Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.
Navigate to:
Layout tab > Print on Both Sides (Duplex) area > select a dry time setting
Note: Under conditions of high humidity, or if the normal drying time does not allow the ink to dry completely, select Extended. |
Click OK.
From the Apple menu, navigate to:
System Preferences > Print & Fax > select your printer
Navigate to:
Open Print Queue > Printer Setup > Driver tab
or
Printer Setup > Installable Options
From the Two-Sided Printing Dry Time pop-up menu, choose a dry time setting.
Note: Under conditions of high humidity, or if the normal drying time does not allow the ink to dry completely, choose Extended. |
Click OK or Apply Changes.
