Print on coated or premium paper
If you are printing colored text or grayscale graphics, try printing on coated or premium paper. Different types of paper absorb ink distinctly and print with slight color variations.
- Load coated or premium paper.
- Customize the settings in the Page Setup dialog.
- From the software application, click File Page Setup....
- From the Settings pop-up menu, choose Page Attributes.
- From the Format for pop-up menu, choose 810 Series.
- Choose a paper size.
- Select an orientation.
- Click OK.
- Customize the settings in the Print dialog.
- From the software application, click File Print....
- From the Printer pop-up menu, choose 810 Series.
- From the pop-up menu in the upper left corner, choose Quality & Media.
- Choose a paper type. If Automatic is not chosen in the Paper Type pop-up menu, choose Coated.
- From the Print Quality area, select Automatic. When set at Automatic, the document is printed at the appropriate quality for the paper type loaded in the printer. You can Select a print quality other than Automatic.
- Click Print.
If you are printing photos on coated paper, print them one at a time. The Paper exit tray holds 25 sheets of coated or premium paper.
