Scheduling tasks

The Scheduling feature lets you perform a task such as Printer Inventory or Job Accounting on a specific day at a specific time. Each task can have multiple schedules.

You can schedule the following tasks using MarkVision:

To schedule a task:

  1. Select Scheduling from the All Tasks menu or click Actions Scheduling.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the task you want to schedule.
  4. Select the time you want the task to take place. You can schedule a task to occur on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. If your scheduled task is to occur on a weekly or monthly basis, select the days on which you want it to occur.
  5. Configure the task.
  6. Click OK.

A schedule of events for the server appears in the calendar window.

Note: To schedule a device discovery, use the Device discovery task.
