If a printer has an eSF application installed that communicates with a server on your network inside the proxy server, then you cannot use the printer proxy settings because the exceptions applied in the Local Domains list do not apply to eSF applications. Instead, you can use the proxy settings in the Hosted Testing and Grading application, which override the printer settings when using this application.
If no eSF applications require communication with a server inside the proxy server, then leave the settings shown here blank and use the printer proxy settings. For more information, see Configuring a printer to communicate with the Internet through a proxy server.
Notes:
Access the application configuration settings from the Embedded Web Server. For more information, see Accessing application configuration settings using the Embedded Web Server.
In the Proxy Address and Port field, type the IP address or host name of the proxy server for your network, followed by a colon and then the port number.
Example:
In the Proxy Local Domains field, type any domains on the local network that do not require communication through the proxy server, separated by commas.
