Print on coated or premium paper
Try printing on coated or premium paper. Different types of paper accept ink differently and print with slight color variations.
- Load coated or premium paper.
- Customize the settings in the Page Setup dialog.
- From the software application, click File Page Setup.
- From the Settings pop-up menu, choose Page Attributes.
- From the Format for: pop-up menu, choose 2200 Series.
- Choose a paper size.
- Select an orientation.
- Click OK.
- Customize the settings in the Print dialog.
- From the software application, click File Print.
- From the Printer pop-up menu, choose 2200 Series.
- From the pop-up menu in the upper left, choose Quality & Media.
- From the Paper Type: pop-up menu, choose Coated.
- From the Print Quality: area select Better or Best.
- Click Print. To avoid smudging ink, remove each coated or premium paper from the paper exit tray before the next one exits, and then let it dry before stacking.
