Printing on coated or premium paper

  1. Load coated or premium paper.
  2. Customize the settings in the Page Setup dialog.
    1. From the software application, click File  Page Setup.
    2. From the "Settings" pop-up menu, choose Page Attributes.
    3. From the "Format for" pop-up menu, choose 3300 Series.
    4. Choose a paper size.
      Note: If you want to print from edge to edge, go to Borderless paper sizes supported.
    5. Select an orientation.
    6. Click OK.
  3. Customize the settings in the Print dialog.
    1. From the software application, click File  Print.
    2. From the "Printer" pop-up menu, choose 3300 Series.
    3. From the pop-up menu that says "Copies & Pages", choose Quality & Media.
      • Choose a media type.
      • Note: The All-In-One has a Paper type sensor. If Automatic is not chosen in the Media type pop-up menu, choose Coated.
      • Select a print quality.
      • Note: When set to Automatic, the All-In-One prints the document using the print quality specified for the media type loaded. You can select a print quality other than Automatic.
  4. Click Print. Different types of paper accept ink differently and print with slight color variations.
    Note: Print photos one at a time when you are printing on coated or premium paper. Remove each photo as it exits the printer to avoid smudging. The Paper exit tray holds up to 25 sheets of coated or premium paper.
