Closing the scanner unit

First, make sure there are no objects obstructing the scanner unit.

1. Slightly raise the scanner unit.
2. Push the scanner unit support to the right to release it.
3. Carefully lower the scanner unit until it is completely closed.

   Note:

   The scanner unit must be closed to begin a print, scan, or copy job.
