Adding the All-In-One to the Printer List

After you configure the All-In-One as a network printer, you must add it to the Printer List.

Add the All-In-One to the Printer List from the software application

  1. Make sure the All-In-One is properly connected, and the power light is on.
  2. From the software application, choose File   Print. The Print dialog appears.
  3. From the "Printer" pop-up menu, choose Edit Printer List. The Printer List dialog appears.
  4. Click Add or Add Printer.
  5. Choose the connection type from the pop-up menu.

    If you choose USB

    If you choose Lexmark Inkjet Networking

    1. Select the All-In-One from the list.
    2. Click Add.

      Note: A printer networked through an external adapter displays its name and the six-digit MAC address of the adapter.
    1. Click Add.

Add the All-In-One to the Printer List from the Print Center or Printer Setup Utility (in Mac OS X version 10.3)

  1. Make sure the All-In-One is properly connected, and the power light is on.
  2. From the Finder desktop, choose Go  Applications   Utilities   Print Center or Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X version 10.3). The Printer List dialog appears.
  3. Click Add or Add Printer.
  4. Choose the connection type from the pop-up menu.

    If you choose USB

    If you choose Lexmark Inkjet Networking

    1. Select the All-In-One from the list.
    2. Click Add.
