Raise the access cover. The cartridge carrier moves to the loading position, unless the printer is busy.
Press down on the cartridge lever until the cartridge lid opens.
Note:
The same procedure applies when removing a black, color, or photo cartridge.
Remove the used cartridge.
Store it in an airtight container or dispose of it properly. When removing the photo cartridge to exchange it with a black cartridge, store the photo cartridge in the storage unit provided.
