Configure a network printer

You can set the IP address of a printer attached to a network either through a built-in factory installed network interface (available on some specific printers), or through a print server.

Note: If the printer has been previously configured, it can be used without being reconfigured provided no one else is currently using that same IP address.

To configure your printer using the Printer Selection dialog:

  1. Open the Lexmark P910 Series Utility.
  2. From the menu bar, choose Advanced to display the Advanced menu.
  3. Choose Select Printer... . The Printer Selection dialog appears.
  4. Select your printer from the list, and then click Configure... . The Configure Network Printer dialog appears.
