Choosing a media type

The Paper type sensor of the All-In-One automatically detects the following media types loaded in the paper support and adjusts the media type setting in the Print dialog:

• Plain
• Coated
• Glossy/Photo
• Transparency

By default, the paper type sensor is set to Automatic. To turn off the paper type sensor and manually choose the paper type:

1. From the software application, choose File  Print.
2. From the pop-up menu that says "Copies & Pages", choose Quality & Media.
3. From the "Media Type" pop-up menu, choose a preferred media type other than Automatic.
4. Click Print.
