Paper jams

Did the jam occur in the paper support?

Have the All-In-One automatically eject the jammed paper by pressing and holding Select.

If the All-In-One does not eject the paper, manually remove the paper.

  1. Lift the scanner unit open, firmly grasp the paper and gently pull it from the All-In-One.
  2. Close the scanner unit.
  3. Press Select to load paper and continue printing.

Did the jam occur far into the All-In-One?

Turn the power off. Open the scanner unit and gently pull the paper out.

Does the paper keep jamming in the All-In-One?

  1. Make sure you are using paper designed for an inkjet printer.
  2. Load paper correctly.

Paper misfeeds, skews, or multiple sheets feed

Is the paper loaded correctly?

Go to Load paper.

Are you using paper recommended for your All-In-One?

Make sure you are using paper designed for an inkjet printer. Follow the instructions in Load paper for your paper type.

Are you printing more than one page at a time?

Try loading a smaller amount of paper into the All-In-One. Go to Paper support.

Is the paper wrinkled?

Use a new piece of paper that is straight and unwrinkled.

Paper and specialty media stick together

Are you printing more than one page at a time?

Try loading a smaller amount of paper into the All-In-One. Go to Paper support.

Are the pages sticking together on the paper exit tray?

Remove each page as it exits the All-In-One and let it dry completely before stacking. For the quantity of various paper types the paper exit tray can hold, go to Paper exit tray.

Are you using paper or specialty media recommended for your All-In-One?

Make sure you are using paper designed for an inkjet printer.

All-In-One does not feed specialty media

Is the paper loaded correctly?

Go to Load paper.

Is there a paper jam?

Go to Paper jams.

Is your All-In-One held or paused?

Check the printer status.
