Troubleshooting checklist
Before you proceed with troubleshooting your All-In-One, make sure:
- You only have one Lexmark 2200 Series All-In-One attached to your computer.
- The power supply is firmly attached to your All-In-One and a properly grounded electrical outlet.
- Both your All-In-One and computer are on.
- Your USB cable is securely attached to your All-In-One and to your computer.
- You installed the All-In-One software correctly. For help go to Install the All-In-One software.
- You installed the print cartridges correctly. For help, go to Install the print cartridges.
- You removed the sticker and transparent tape from the back and bottom of each print cartridge.
- The paper is loaded correctly. Do not push the paper too far into the All-In-One. For help, go to Load paper and specialty media.
- Your All-In-One is set as the default or current printer. For help, go to Check the All-In-One status.
- Your All-In-One is directly connected to your computer. If it is connected through an external device such as a USB hub, switch box, scanner, or fax machine, disconnect your All-In-One from any external devices.
- You Connect your All-In-One directly to your computer with a USB cable.
- You Print a test page.
