Error Message

What it indicates

Solution

POWER light blinks on and off.

An error condition exists.

Read the message on the control panel display screen.

"Press for more options.

Press or

to change current setting. Press Copy to Start."

This is an initial Help message.

Note:  This message will only appear the first few times you use the All-In-One.

Black/Photo cartridge missing

A cartridge may be placed in the left carrier unit.

A working cartridge of the indicated type is optional. A color cartridge must be in place in the right carrier. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Color cartridge missing

A cartridge must be placed in the right carrier unit.

Place a working cartridge of the indicated type in the right carrier. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Left cartridge incorrect

A photo or black cartridge may be placed in the left carrier unit.

Place a working cartridge of the indicated type in the carrier. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Right cartridge incorrect

A color cartridge must be placed in the right carrier unit.

Place a working cartridge of the indicated type in the carrier. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Black ink low

Photo and Color ink low

The print cartridge is running out of ink. The Ink Low warning occurs when the cartridges are about 25 percent full, 15 percent full, and 5 percent full.

Replace the print cartridge. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Cover Open

The All-In-One's scanner unit is open.

Close the unit securely.

Paper Jam

There is paper jammed in the All-In-One.

Clear the paper jam. See Jams and misfeeds troubleshooting.

Load paper, then press Menu (->)

The All-In-One is out of paper.

Load more paper into the All-In-One. Press the Arrow button on the control panel to advance the paper.

Error 1003

There is a paper system error.

Turn the All-In-One off, wait a few seconds, and then turn the All-In-One on.

Error 1200

The print cartridge carrier has stalled.

Disconnect the All-In-One power supply, check for paper jams, and then reconnect the power supply.

Error 1201

There is a USB communication error.

Disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable from the All-In-One.

Error 1203

The cartridge has a short-circuit.

Disconnect and then reconnect the All-In-One USB power supply cable from the computer. Reinstall the print cartridges. If the error persists, replace the cartridges. See Replacing the print cartridges.

Error 1207

There is a paper system error.

 

Turn the All-In-One off, wait a few seconds, and then turn the All-In-One back on.

Error 2200

The scan carrier may be stalled.

Turn the All-In-One off, wait a few seconds, and then turn the All-In-One back on.
