Adjusting the brightness of an image

From the control panel

You can lighten or darken images when copying or when printing photos.

1. When performing a copying task, press Mode until the Copy light comes on; when working with photos, press Mode until the Photo Card light comes on.
2. Press Menu.
3. From either the Photo menu or the Copy menu, use the up and down arrows to scroll to Brightness.
4. Press Select.
5. Use the left (-) and right (+) arrows to adjust the brightness of the image.
6. Press Select.

From the All-In-One Center

1. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Center.
2. From either the Scan tab or the Copy tab, click Preview/Edit to open the Scan dialog or the Copy dialog.
3. Select the Adjustments tab.
4. From the Brightness area, move the slider to lighten or darken the image.
