Printer Selection dialog

Selecting a printer

From the Printer Selection dialog, you can select a printer you want to use, or select one for configuration or maintenance. The All-In-One is automatically entered into the Printer List when you install the All-In-One software.

Note: If the All-In-One is not listed, make sure the USB cable is securely attached to the computer and the All-In-One, and the All-In-One is turned on.
  1. Open the Lexmark 4300 Series Utility.
  2. From the menu bar, choose Advanced.
  3. Choose Select Printer. The Printer Selection dialog appears. From here, you can:
    • Configure—If the All-In-One is shown, you can enter or change its IP address. Select it from the list on the Printer Selection dialog, and then click Configure. To configure additional printers, see Configuring a network printer.
    • Add Remote—If the All-In-One is not shown on the list, select Add Remote. For more information, see Adding a remote network printer.
    • Use Shared—Use a printer connected to another computer on Mac OS X version 10.2.3 or later.
    • Note: Printer maintenance for shared printers should be performed on the host computer.
